A punishing rally sim
DiRT Rally 2.0 puts you behind the wheel of over 50 off-road cars, from historic rally machines to modern contenders like the VW Polo GTI R5, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, Citroen C3 R5 and the Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R. You drive through six real-world rally locations: New Zealand, Argentina, Spain, Poland, Australia and the USA. The handling model is built around authenticity, with tyre choice, surface degradation and fallible surfaces all playing a part. One small mistake can end your stage, so pace notes from your co-driver and your own instincts are what keep you on the road.
Playing together
Quick Play Multiplayer gives your group a competitive online environment to race in. Beyond that, Daily, Weekly and Monthly Challenges let everyone chase the same targets, with worldwide leaderboards to compare times against the wider community. Time Trial is there for setting clean runs on your own terms. Note that Racenet Clubs stop being available from July 8 2026, since the site hosting them is closing on that date; after then, attempting to access Clubs in-game returns an error. Time Trial, My Team Career and Quick Play Multiplayer remain playable.
Building a team and tuning up
The single player Career Campaign has you create a team, hire staff and expand your garage as you see fit. Events and Championships give the campaign structure, and the same progression carries into the competitive online side. Tuning matters: set up each car to suit your driving style and the surface you are facing, configure the set-up to spread out wear and tear, and upgrade parts so the car holds up over a long event. The Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack adds 40 scenarios drawn from three decades of Colin McRae's career, 12 new rally routes through Perth and Kinross in Scotland, plus the SUBARU Impreza S4 Rally and SUBARU Legacy RS.
