Downhill runs with real consequences
Descenders is a fast-paced extreme downhill biking game where you ride procedurally generated worlds, so the jumps, slopes and hillbombs are different every time you play. The physics system is built for subtle rider control, letting you pull off whips and scrubs. Mistakes have real consequences, and the goal is to survive a run and reach the ranks of the legendary Descenders. It is easy to pick up but difficult to master.
Riding with your team
Your team is central to the game. You pick a side — Enemy, Arboreal or Kinetic — and are bound together with other players who choose the same side. Team Enemy is trick-frenzy, Team Arboreal is off-road, and Team Kinetic is speed-focused. You wear your team's colors and apparel, gain exclusive team gear, and the team with the most Rep earns exclusive prizes. There is a fully-featured online Rep system to show off your worth and earn new bikes and threads, plus Online PvP.
Before you start
Each run earns special mutators, so you work out which abilities suit your riding style. The game is tagged as difficult and physics-based, so expect a learning curve. A fully licensed drum & bass soundtrack from Liquicity plays while you ride. It is also moddable, and your team gets an exclusive channel on the Descenders Discord server.
