A parody action-RPG with a big quest list
DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue sends DeathSpank on a new voyage to hunt down the magical Thongs of Virtue and combine their powers to bring peace to the universe. The trip takes him across war-torn battlefields, the High Plains, and the savage seas. Combat is fast-paced hack-and-slash with loot at the center of it: over 150 quests and puzzles, plus weapons, armor, and loot spanning different eras of history to collect as you go. The tone is comedy and parody, so expect the story and characters to play everything straight while being silly about it.
Playing together on the couch
Sidekick Co-Op Mode lets a second player drop in for cooperative couch play. The host plays DeathSpank, and the friend picks one of two sidekicks: Sparkles the wizard, who uses magical skills, or Steve, who uses kung-fu moves. Steam also lists Remote Play Together, so a friend can join over the internet as if they were on the same couch.
What comes with it
The package includes two DLCs. The Snowy Mountain Dungeon opens a freezing dungeon in the Snowy Mountains, filled with enemies of ice, flesh, and terror. Tankko the Warrior adds a new warrior to the roster: half-man, half-monster, built to frighten enemies and mildly unsettle allies.
