A city built for scavenging
Deadburg drops you into a large procedurally generated city packed with zombies and loot. Thousands of buildings are there to search, and every block of them can be broken, so you can strip a place for supplies or tear it down completely. The city is yours to pick apart: explore, exploit, destroy, and see what secrets are hidden inside. As you survive, your character gets stronger and unlocks extra bonuses and skills, so longer sessions pay off in raw capability.
Playing with your group
You can go in alone or with up to 3 friends. Online co-op is the way your group shares the same city, splitting up to scavenge, covering each other against hordes, and pooling what you find. Crafting turns scavenged parts into weapons and supplies you actually need, and base building lets you either modify an existing structure or raise a fully custom one. Terrain editing is included, so a group can reshape the ground and build whatever base layout suits the way they play. One player can dig a foundation while another walls it up, or the whole group can raze a block of buildings to clear space.
Modes and difficulty before you start
Multiple game modes change the shape of a run. Survival is the standard loop: kill zombies, scavenge loot, craft weapons, build a base. Defense turns up the pressure because the horde comes for you and you had better be ready. Last Life removes the safety net, since a dead character means game over. Creative lets you modify an existing city freely and then convert it into another game mode, which is useful when your group wants to set up a map before committing to a real run.
Multiple difficulties are available as well, so you can make the zombies more threatening when the group wants a harder fight. Pick a mode and difficulty that match how much punishment your group wants, then get into the city.
