Lane battles and deckbuilding
Crystal Clash is a tug-of-war lane battler where your deck decides what you can play. You collect cards, build decks and push lanes against the other side. The view is top-down and the matches are quick and easy to pick up, with a hybrid of MOBA, tower defense and deckbuilding. Decks are dual-color, so you mix cards from two Legions rather than sticking to one. Five playable Legions are available: Blue builds energy effects and buildings for heavy combos, including a defensive line you can teleport behind the enemy to turn it into an attack line; Green uses heal-over-time, rooting effects and hordes of Saplings that evolve into stronger creatures; Black freezes enemies and drains their life, ripping out souls to trigger passive abilities; White runs healing and shielding spells that hit multiple units at once, backing masses of archers and knights; Crystal provides supporting and stabilizing abilities while golems and ancient spells take control of the battlefield. Spells you cast empower your troops so they can unleash their own abilities.
Playing together
You can play 2v2 or co-op with a friend, or get paired with new allies and enemies for online matches. Teammates share the lane push, so coordinating which cards to play and when to commit matters as much as your deck. There are also PvE challenges to work through on your own or alongside a partner.
Before you start
The game is free-to-play and is not pay-to-win: every card can be unlocked with in-game currencies. The only things bought with real money are skins, which support the game, and the model is pay-to-advance-faster. Expect a card game's deckbuilding loop wrapped around real-time lane combat, so your build choices carry directly into each match.
