A city built from cards
Concrete Jungle is a city planning game where you place buildings by playing cards from your hand. Each building affects the tiles around it in its own way, so the card you choose matters as much as where you put it. The goal is to gather enough points from your residents to clear a city block, which opens up space to keep building. As your city grows, you earn new cards and add them to your deck, so your options change over time. Because your earlier placements shape what you can do later, you end up solving zoning puzzles created by your own past decisions.
Playing together
Concrete Jungle supports local competitive and cooperative multiplayer for up to 4 players or AI, and it also has Remote Play Together. In competitive play, everyone takes turns placing buildings in the same city and competes for the affection of the citizens. There is also a 'Versus' mode where you face challenging AI opponents. Alongside multiplayer, the game includes a fully voice-acted story mode.
Before you start
There are over 300 cards available with no micro-transactions, and 8 playable characters, each with their own skill trees, unique cards, and play style. The game runs at any resolution with borderless window and full-screen options, and supports controllers. Expect a puzzle-leaning take on city building rather than a simulation heavy on micro-management, with some runs marked as difficult.
