A Four-Player Horror Hunt
CASE 2: Animatronics Survival is a first-person horror game where your group splits into two sides: one or more players become the animatronics, and the other three play as survivors. The survivors work together to make it through, while the animatronics are out to crush everyone and everything. The story follows Jack, a man who has lost everything, and takes place two years before an attack on a police station, after a tragedy closed the city's amusement park. You will use a tablet to watch security cameras and monitor the situation, solve puzzles, and move through a lot of different locations. Each animatronic has its own mortal features, so knowing what you are up against matters.
Playing Together Online
Your group can jump into the online mode and split up. Three of you take the survivor roles and try to avoid a terrible fate, while one or more friends control the animatronics. The survivors need to stick together, watch the cameras, and solve puzzles to get through. The animatronic players hunt them down, using their unique abilities to close in. The game is built around this back-and-forth, so communication and timing decide how each round plays out.
What to Know Before Starting
This is a stealth-heavy game where attention and caution both get punished quickly. Survivors should use shelters, move silently, and keep an eye on the cameras, since inattention or too much caution are each swiftly punished. Animatronic players need to be shrewd and use each character's mortal features to their advantage. The story brings unexpected situations that will make you think, so expect more than a straight chase. Your mission is to survive at any cost.
