A Companion on Your Desktop
Bit Buddy is a hand-drawn companion that sits on your screen and reacts to what you do on your computer in real time. Every click, mouse movement, and keystroke gets a response from your little buddy, and it can also react to your microphone input. It works as an idle companion while you work or study, staying by your side as a digital coworker. Along the way, using your keyboard and mouse earns you a chance to unlock decorations with no extra steps, so collecting happens naturally as you go about your day.
Collecting and Customizing
There are over 600 unique accessories and pet skins to collect, letting you give your Bit Buddy a look that matches your style. Beyond that, Steam Workshop opens the door to more than 3,000 community-made buddies and decorations to explore. You can also create and share your own buddies and decorations with other players. Bit Buddy also logs your daily and historical keyboard and mouse activity, so you can track how much you have typed or clicked over time.
Playing Together and Privacy
Steam lists Online Co-op as a feature, so there is a way to play alongside others. The store text does not spell out how that co-op works, so check in-game for the details. On the privacy side, Bit Buddy does not collect device or personal information. Keyboard and mouse usage data stays stored locally on your own device and is never uploaded anywhere. The only network communication is what Steam requires for things like purchase verification, achievements, and cloud save.
