A cooperative shooter in the Alien universe
Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a third-person survival shooter where you and your friends fight through hordes of Xenomorphs. The campaign takes place on the planet LV-895, where you explore ruins and caves to uncover a mystery. The base game includes twelve missions across four campaigns, and the Pathogen expansion adds a new campaign with three more missions.
Building your fireteam
You play with up to two other players, or with AI teammates if your group is short. Before a mission, your group picks a class composition, consumables, and weapons to suit the fight ahead. There are seven classes, each with two unique abilities and unlockable perks, so you can specialize in one class or level up across several. Over 130 perks let you shape a build around your playstyle, and weapons from magnums and SMGs to rocket launchers gain stats the more you use them. Beyond the campaign, you can take on Challenge Card runs and various game modes together.
Before you start
Expect a PvE experience focused on holding defensive positions against waves of enemies, including Prowlers and Spitters. Character customization and weapon progression carry across your playtime, so repeated runs feed into your builds. The Pathogen expansion, Endeavor Pass cosmetic DLCs, and Endeavor Veteran Pack are separate from the base game and are bundled in the Into the Hive and Ultimate Editions.
