Invade Earth with your alien crew
Alien Hominid Invasion is a side-scrolling action game from The Behemoth where you play as an alien helping the Mothership take over Earth. You blast, beam, and bite through endless swarms of enemies, steal intel to sabotage human plans, and blow up bosses on the way to enemy headquarters. Along the way you observe the oddities of human life and fight the not-so-secret agents who are trying to ruin your day.
Play with up to four players
Bring up to three friends along for the invasion. You can play through online co-op, couch co-op, or both at once. Difficulty is set per player, so one person can pick Friendly while another goes for Insane, which lets groups with different skill levels stay in the same run. There are three difficulty levels and two life insurance modes: Mastery Mode gives more experience and better drops but you lose it all on death, while Perkeep keeps the standard invasion experience and lets you hold onto your stuff.
Grow your alien and pick your path
Missions and leveling let you mutate your alien to unlock new mechanics like super speed, healing, and flight. You unlock and equip weapons, boosts, and cosmetics, then experiment with combos of alien tech buffs and debuffs to find your preferred playstyle. The leveling experience is non-linear, and you invade randomly-assembled neighborhoods built from hundreds of hand-crafted city blocks to reach enemy HQ. After destroying each HQ you unlock more mutations, get a holo-hug from Mama, and prepare for the next mission. Sewer Kid Hideouts are where you unbox loot and spend your lunch money, and Mothership Data can be redeemed for bonus modifiers like extra lunch money and shield power ups.
