What AccuRC 2 is

AccuRC 2 is an RC simulator built around helicopters, with drones, fixed wing aircraft and cars also included. Racing, FPV, photo sceneries and 3D sceneries are all part of the package. The main goal is flight dynamics realism: each model is meant to feel the way the real thing feels. Models and components are recreated as the original, often using CAD files from the manufacturers, and companies like BK Designs, Compass Models, EGODRIFT, GAUI, JR PROPO, SAB Heli Division, Scorpion Power System and XLPower are among those worked with.

Playing together

Online PvP and Remote Play Together are available, so your group can fly and race against each other. The sim covers helicopter 3D, aerobatics, drone racing and FPV flying across its sceneries, which include super-detailed sites based on actual RC flying locations as well as 3D rendered super-scapes with stadiums, cities and remote islands. Camera views can be changed during flight, including first person view.

Before you start

A controller is required; AccuRC is not flyable without one. An RC style controller or an actual RC transmitter is strongly recommended. Anything Windows recognizes as a USB Game Controller works, as does anything that can output PPM connected via the AccuRC Dongle. An Xbox style controller can work but will likely not give the full RC flying experience.

Setup happens in the workbench area, where you can swap electrical and mechanical components and adjust settings the same way you would on your own model. The AH720 flybarless unit and the virtual transmitter let you customize each aircraft down to the nuance. Training modes with enhanced stability are available for getting started, alongside setups for intermediate and advanced pilots.
