Crash-landed on a strange Earth

ToeJam and Earl have crash-landed back on Earth after taking the Rapmaster Rocket on an intergalactic joyride. Your job is to explore this wack planet, find the lost pieces of the Rapmaster Rocket, and get home to Funkotron. The world is constantly changing and unpredictable, so no two runs play out the same. Along the way you will run into more than 50 Earthlings and get your hands on over 60 powerful presents to help you along, or to use on your friends if that's your thing.

Grab some homies for co-op

This is built as a multiplayer game first and foremost. You can team up for 4-player co-op to hunt down secret locations, hidden presents, and new friends as you push through the shifting world. Online Co-op, Online PvP, and Remote Play Together are all supported, so your crew can join in even when you're not on the same couch. There are 9 playable characters with unique play styles, including ToeJam, Earl, and familiar faces from the old games. Presents and power hats can be used to help your homies out, or to totally mess with them.

Know what you're getting into

This is a casual co-op roguelike, so expect things to get a little unpredictable. The world rearranges itself each run, and some presents will not always do what you hope. Between runs you can return to the HyperFunk Zone to power up your character or freestyle beats in the rhythm matching mini game. There are over 30 groovy tunes to explore, including remixes and new basslines, so the soundtrack carries a lot of the game's personality. Original co-creator Greg Johnson is back at the helm, and the whole thing leans hard into throwbacks to the 1991 classic.
