Taming Temtem across the Archipelago
Temtem is an online creature-collection adventure set across the islands of the Airborne Archipelago. You take on the role of a tamer, catching and training 165 unique creatures known as Temtem. The world is always online, so you will see other tamers out in the wild, interacting and battling alongside you. Your main goal in the story campaign is to travel across the islands, defeat the eight Dojo Leaders, and put a stop to Clan Belsoto's plot to rule the Archipelago. Along the way, you can explore different environments, from floating islands to ash-covered fields, and hunt for rare Luma and Umbra variants of your favorite Tems.
Playing Together with Friends
You are not limited to traveling solo. You can join forces with a friend at any time to tackle the world together. This co-op adventure allows you to catch new Temtem, complete routes, and face off against Temtem Leaders while fighting side-by-side in dual battles. Beyond the main adventure, the game supports online PvP. When competing against other tamers, you enter a strategic pick and ban phase where you choose 8 Temtem, take turns banning your rival's picks, and ultimately assemble a squad of 5 for the battle. You can also visit Atoll Row to buy and decorate your own house, inviting friends over to see your furniture and wall colors.
Preparing for the Journey
Before you start, know that this is a turn-based tactics game with a heavy focus on collecting and breeding. You will spend time managing your team, breeding your favorite Tems, and customizing your character with various cosmetics like hats, sweatshirts, and cosplay outfits. The game blends PvE elements like the story campaign and mythical Lairs with PvP competitive modes. Since it is an always-online world, you will be sharing the islands with other players as you progress through the adventure.
