A tactical RPG about breaking the slavers
Telepath Tactics Liberated is a turn-based strategy RPG where you build an army of freedom fighters and lead them against the Vibra Mining Company. Battles take place on a grid, and the field itself is a weapon: walls can be razed, bridges raised or blown up, rivers frozen, and trees cut down. You can shove enemies off cliffs, into lava pools, traps, water, chasms, or into each other. The slavers can do all of this too, so positioning matters on every turn. The story follows the Strider sisters, who escaped bondage and trained with the lissit, a tribe of komodo warriors, before taking the fight to the mining company to rescue their father.
Playing with friends
The campaign is built around a single player managing the army, but Steam Remote Play Together lets another player join in and test their mettle on the randomized campaign. The game also carries a Local Multiplayer tag, so groups sitting at the same machine can take part. Either way, one person is still steering the overall campaign while the second player joins for the tactical challenge.
Army building and battlefield control
You recruit from dozens of characters across 24 base classes, then develop them through more than 150 distinct skills before they can promote into nearly fifty prestige classes. Resources have to be managed both inside and outside battles so your army stays supplied. Six difficulty levels are available, plus a custom difficulty where you set the rules yourself. The battlefield tools — traps, barricades, destructible cover, frozen rivers — let you shape each map to your plan, whether that means opening a new attack route or walling off an overwhelming push.
Campaign creator and replay value
A standalone campaign creator lets you build and share new campaigns with your own characters, cutscenes, items, and skills. Randomizing the campaign gives a fresh run for groups that want a different challenge each time. This is a remake of the 2015 Telepath Tactics, rebuilt from the ground up in a new and more powerful engine, so the original's tactical core is intact with expanded tooling around it.
