What Stellarcraft is
Stellarcraft is a sci-fi tower defense game where you explore alien planets, gather resources, and complete missions. You build and upgrade defensive structures to fend off waves of enemies while developing your character. Strategic planning and technological upgrades are the keys to survival. Each planet has its own biomes, resources, and enemies, so what works on one world may not hold up on the next. You scout for good defensive positions, then commit your build there.
Playing it with your group
You can play alone or in co-op with up to 4 players. The campaign runs as a co-op experience across different planets, with a story and missions to complete together. Roguelite and Endless modes let the group survive increasingly difficult waves, with character improvements carried between runs. There is also a PvP mode where you send your enemies against other players to test your strategy in competitive battles. Coordinating tower placement and resource spending matters more as the waves get tougher.
Getting your defenses ready
Resources drive everything: minerals, energy, and rare metals fund building and upgrading towers, and some planets hold special resources needed to craft advanced technology. Automation helps a lot here — miners, drones, and automated ore production systems collect resources so you can spend your attention on expanding bases and defenses instead of manual gathering.
Towers come in a variety of types with unique abilities, and placement decides how efficiently they cover the approach. Upgrades add shields, extra ammo, or new abilities, so you can tune your setup for each incoming wave rather than relying on one static defense. Enemies grow increasingly powerful over time, which means your layout needs to keep adapting.
