Command armies in real-time battles

STAR WARS™ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga is a real-time strategy game where you build a base, gather resources, and push armies across the map. You take charge of one of six factions: the Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance, Wookies, Trade Federation, Gungans, or Royal Naboo. Battles run over land, sea, and air, with arenas ranging from interstellar asteroids to ground wars to aquatic realms. Factions bring their own upgrades to the table, such as Wookie ingenuity, advanced Gungan biotechnology, and Jedi stamina, so your tech path shapes how the fight plays out. Armies can reach 200 units per side, and the roster includes Bounty Hunters, Jedi, Droids, Wookiee Kat tanks, and more.

Play together with friends

Multiplayer battles let your group face off against each other, and skirmish mode works for quick matches when you want something shorter than a full campaign. Remote Play Together is supported, so one person can host and others join in from their own machines. The Scenario Editor also covers multiplayer, letting you build custom matches with virtually any Star Wars units and settings to share with the group.

Campaigns and the Clone Campaigns addon

The base game includes single-player campaigns and skirmishes. The Clone Campaigns addon adds 14 missions where you play as the breakaway Confederacy of Independent Systems or the Galactic Republic, following characters, vehicles, and locations from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. The same Scenario Editor works for single-player campaigns, so you can build your own missions with any units and settings the game offers.

Before you start

This is a classic RTS with isometric 2D maps and base building, so expect the pace and interface of an older strategy game rather than a modern one. Resource management and tech upgrades matter as much as unit control, and the large unit caps mean late fights can get busy. Knowing your faction's strengths early helps, since upgrades like Wookie ingenuity or Gungan biotechnology change what your army can do.
