A voxel world you can dig into

Rising World is an open-world sandbox built from voxels, with a randomly generated, fully destructible environment. You start with basic tools and gather resources to survive in the wild. From there you can dig into a complex network of underground caves, hunt, fish, and move through a variety of biomes as the seasons and day-night cycle change around you. The world reacts to what you do: everything is modifiable, right down to playing the piano.

Building together with friends

The game works in both single and multi-player, so your group can share one world. Online Co-op lets you team up on a shared project, while Online PvP is there if you'd rather compete. Building tools are described as extremely powerful, and the sandbox tags cover base building, crafting, and exploration. Between you, you can shape the terrain, put up structures, and take on the survival side of things as a group. Mounts and drivable boats give you ways to get around, and animals can be fed and tamed.

Things to know before you start

Rising World is in Early Access, so expect the game to still be changing. It has a powerful modding and plugin API, and you can upload images from your hard drive to place them in the world. The tags and features point to a mix of PvE survival, mining, hunting, and relaxed creative play, so there's room to pick the pace that suits your group.
