Run an Airline Across Two Planets
Puffin Planes is a casual airline management game set on a custom-made globe of Earth, with a terraformed Mars available as an alternative map. You build and grow an airline network, deciding how to structure it: a hub-and-spoke layout centered on a main base, or point-to-point routes, or long multi-city cycles that send your planes across several stops. Airports evolve over the course of a game. They can spawn with random bonuses at the start, and later you make choices like building hubs and lounges to optimize how your network runs. The game includes its own original music to listen along to while you play.
Compete and Outmaneuver Rivals
Other airlines are your opposition, and there are several ways to gain an edge over them. You can advertise, construct hotels at airports, or steal concourses from competitors. Once you have the upper hand, you can kick rival airlines out of your hub airports or purchase them outright in a hostile takeover. Your choice of flyer matters too: the luxurious Flamingo earns bonus income from all lounges, the Eagle gets a boost to plane range, and others like the Crow, Gull, and Ostrich each bring their own unique bonuses. Pick the one that fits how you want to run your network.
Play Solo or With Friends
The game supports singleplayer and Steam co-op. In co-op you can invite or join friends through Steam and build a global airline network together, whether on Earth or on Mars. Before starting, it helps to agree with your group on how you want to shape the network, since the flexibility to go hub-based or spread out across long routes means you will be making those calls as the game unfolds.
