What Prince of Qin is

Prince of Qin is an action RPG set in the Qin Dynasty, mixing direct fighting with strategic decisions. You travel through more than 100 unique scenes, including the Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Warriors Tomb, and the game builds those locations to reflect the society and architecture of the period. Along the way you meet over 70 NPCs, many of them based on real historical characters. Your goal is to fight for your cause and hunt down the treasure that brings you closer to the Emperor's throne. The perspective is 2.5D isometric, so you see the whole field during a fight and can read the positioning of enemies clearly.

Playing it with a group

Team-fighting is a core part of the game: up to five heroes per team. That means your group can split responsibilities across the roster and lean on the mix of skills and abilities each hero brings, rather than everyone doing the same thing. Online PvP is available, so groups that want to test their builds and coordination against other players have a place to do it. Outside of that, the combat balance between team size and individual skills is what decides most encounters, so it pays to talk through who fills which role before a match starts.

Before you start

Expect a long run through many enemies spread across the hundred-plus scenes, with a heavy emphasis on story and exploration alongside the fighting. Combat leans on a wide variety of weapons, equipment and abilities, so looting and equipping properly matters as much as reflexes. The game also carries historical content, with characters and places drawn from the Qin era, so a bit of curiosity about that period makes the journey richer. Bring a group that likes both brawling and thinking about loadouts, and settle roles early so the five-hero teams actually work together instead of five people fighting alone in the same room.
