Fighting through Christmas monsters

No More Snow is a top-down twin stick shooter from Barzda where you battle hordes of Christmas monsters on the way to the evil Krampus. Each level throws new enemy types at you and ends with a unique boss fight, so you spend the run learning what each foe can do and where it hurts. The tone stays laid-back and cartoony even when the screen fills up, and the levels run through high mountains, forest paths, deep caves, graveyards, spooky towns, and Santa's toy factory. There are 16 levels in total, split across Christmas and Halloween themes.

Playing together

The game is built for local couch co-op: grab a controller, sit next to a friend, and take on Krampus's minions together. Steam Remote Play Together is supported as well, so a friend can join over a remote session. There is no online multiplayer mode, so plan on being in the same room or using Remote Play. The whole campaign also works in single-player if nobody is around, and a companion mainly makes the hordes and bosses easier to handle.

Weapons and what to expect

Weapons show up in gift boxes scattered through the levels, and the selection covers both firearms and melee options. Lighter picks include assault rifles and shotguns, while the heavy end brings miniguns, rocket launchers, and flamethrowers. Each level introduces new enemy types and closes on a boss, so expect to adjust your loadout as you go and hunt for each boss's weakness. The game has been tested on Steam Deck and runs on handheld devices, and free content updates arrive for the summer and Halloween seasons.
