What Nature Calls is
Nature Calls is a combat game where the goal is simple: score more points than everyone else. The fights are built around food. You pick up items scattered around the maps and eat them, and each one produces its own kind of attack when it comes back out. Eat a burrito and you get a big area-of-effect explosion. Other foods give different explosive or effect types, and the results are deliberately absurd — expect strange, over-the-top blast effects that exist to make the fight funny rather than realistic. The game leans into that silliness; the weirdness is the point.
Playing with your group
The main mode is online PvP, so your friends can pile into the same match and compete for points. Different game modes ask for different tactics, but the scoring goal stays the same across them. There are also "bathrooms" — the game's term for rooms you can create and invite friends into, or join when someone else has opened one. That's where you set up fights against other groups or just hang out together in chat. A built-in voice system lets everyone talk while playing, so you can coordinate, taunt, or just mess around without leaving the game.
Before you start
There is a PvE component alongside the competitive modes, which works if some people in the group would rather play on their own against the game instead of against each other. Expect the tone to be chaotic and unserious: the food-based attacks are the core mechanic, so a match is as much about landing a ridiculous explosion as it is about clean play. The maps are where you'll find the food power-ups, so controlling what's on offer matters as much as your aim. If your group wants something relaxed and funny rather than a tight competitive shooter, this fits — but go in knowing it's a combat game first, with points on the line.
