What My Car My Life is about

My Car My Life is a 2D drag racing game with realistic physics and a strong Brazilian car culture setting. You build and tune cars that were part of Brazilian generations, from the 1970s up to the 2010s, and the work starts from scratch: the customization is technical, and each engine has its own ideal combinations. The game rewards you for knowing which parts go together rather than just bolting things on. Alongside the mechanical work, there's a NoguiinTech hub inspired by FuelTech, where you adjust ignition, injection, fuel pressure and watch lambda readings, all in real time while you dial the car in. Each car has its own realistic sound, both at idle and at full throttle.

Racing and career structure

Career mode puts you against 12 unique opponents, each with their own driving style and their own tuned car. On top of that there are seasonal championships across spring, summer, fall and winter, with separate categories for naturally aspirated and turbo engines, so your build choices decide which events you can realistically compete in. There are three tracks to race on: Abandoned Street, Largados Racetrack and Ignorant Highway. Winning comes down to reaction time and throttle control — you manage the revs precisely and launch with skill, not just raw power.

Between races

Outside the tracks there's a Bar with three minigames where you can try your luck and earn extra cash to put back into the car. That loop of racing, earning, and reinvesting is what drives the project forward, since better parts and smarter tuning are what separate a competitive build from a slow one.

What to know before starting

This is Early Access, so expect things to still be taking shape. The game is listed with singleplayer and PvE content, and Online PvP is available as a Steam feature. The tone is cartoony and pixel-based in 2D, but the underlying mechanics are deliberately detailed — if you enjoy reading your setup, adjusting fuel and ignition, and testing whether your combo actually works on the strip, the technical side is the main draw. If you'd rather just hold the throttle and go, the tuning depth will ask more of you than that.
