What Mitos.is: OG is

Mitos.is: OG is a remake of the 2016 cell-devouring game, built around a simple loop: spawn as a single cell in a ruthless micro-universe, absorb what's smaller than you, and run from anything bigger. You split to gain speed bursts and surprise strikes, deploy viruses as cover, traps or living projectiles, and expel mass to dodge danger, feed allies, or reposition. Every match is live PvP, so the arena is never static — someone is always growing while you're deciding whether to fight or flee.

How your group plays together

The game carries Online Co-op and Online PvP, so a Discord group can jump into the same matches rather than watching from the sidelines. Free for All is pure chaos where every cell is on its own. Random Teams throws you into instant alliances and forces on-the-fly tactics when the teams reshuffle. Guild War is squad-versus-squad, with guild management tools and global chat built in for coordinating attacks. Tournaments are elimination events that run until one champion is left. Friends lists make it easy to group up before queueing, and the gun customization and gear systems let each of you craft a loadout that fits how you play.

Before you start

Absorbing smaller cells is how you bulk up, but the size difference cuts both ways — anything bigger can absorb you, so early on it pays to stay near the edges of the pack. Splitting gives speed and reach but leaves you in pieces, and viruses can be weaponized in a heartbeat, so expect fights to turn in a second. The game has an ultra-responsive netcode revamp with global servers and in-game settings to reduce lag; check those settings before your first serious match. Progression runs up a level ladder with power-ups to unlock — a cap of 69 is listed, and reaching level 59 opens unlimited accounts so you can test new builds and playstyles on separate profiles.
