Paint your body to hide in plain sight

MECCHA CHAMELEON is a hide-and-seek game where you start with a pure white body and paint yourself to match the stage. The goal is simple: blend in well enough that the Seekers look right past you. Your hiding spot, your pose, and your painting skill all decide whether you survive the round. It is a casual, colorful game with a hand-drawn look and a lighthearted, funny tone.

Two teams, one round of deception

Players split into a Seeker team and a Hider team. The Seekers win if they find every Hider before the time limit runs out. Hiders win by staying hidden and unseen. The tension comes from watching the Seekers move through the stage while you try to read the environment and paint yourself into it convincingly. Every round is a contest of observation and mimicry.

Play with friends or strangers

You can play with people you know or join a public match with strangers. If you set a server to public, anyone can join freely, which also makes it easy for streamers to run viewer participation games. The maximum number of players depends on the host's network environment, with 2 to 10 players recommended. That number may change based on future playtests.
