What Mana Spark is
Mana Spark is a challenging 2D action RPG set in a dark fantasy dungeon. Combat is skill-based and souls-like: every enemy has its own set of skills, behaviors, and ways of collaborating with others, so you need to learn their patterns and find their weaknesses before they get to you. The dungeon itself is a mix of handcrafted rooms and procedural generation, which means each room is built to make the most of a fight while the layout changes so you never explore the same dungeon twice. Between runs you are responsible for rebuilding and maintaining your guild's village, meeting new characters, choosing your traps and weapons, and keeping track of your discoveries and unlocked content.
Playing together
Mana Spark lists Local Co-Op among its tags, and Remote Play Together is available as a Steam feature, so a group can join in from one copy through that. The core loop stays the same for everyone involved: read the enemies, coordinate on who handles what, and push deeper into the dungeon. Since enemies plan and collaborate against you, having another pair of eyes on a pattern or a flank makes a real difference in a room.
Before you start
Go in expecting a difficult game. The combat is built around learning enemy behavior rather than out-leveling it, so early deaths are part of the process. Runs are meant to feel new each time thanks to the procedural layout, and progress carries back to the village, where your choices about traps, weapons, and unlocked content shape what you have available next. Set aside time for repeated attempts and pay attention to what each enemy does differently from the last.
