What the game covers
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 takes players through Harry Potter's heroic adventures in the Muggle and wizarding worlds, based on the last three books and final four films. The journey runs from Privet Drive in Little Whinging to Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade and Hogwarts, with new locations along the way including Grimmauld Place, the Ministry of Magic and Godric's Hollow. Along the route you meet new faces, take on new challenges and learn new magic, building up to the final confrontation with Lord Voldemort.
Playing together
This is a third-person adventure built for playing with others in the same room. Drop-in/drop-out co-op lets friends and family join whenever they like, and the split screen adjusts dynamically as players move around. You can learn and use new charms and spells, including the Unforgivable Curses, and master advanced duelling skills to battle Voldemort's Death Eaters. Over 100 characters are unlockable, among them Fenrir Greyback, Bellatrix Lestrange and Professor Slughorn. Remote Play Together is also supported, so one person can host and others can join over the internet.
Before you start
Expect a mix of puzzle-solving, action and exploration across open areas, with plenty of comedy in the LEGO presentation. The game is tagged as family friendly and works with a controller. Split screen and local co-op are the main ways a group plays together, so plan on sharing a screen or using Remote Play Together if you are not in the same room.
