Crew a steampunk airship together
Guns of Icarus Alliance is a team-based online game where you fly steam-powered airships in a steampunk world. Each player takes a role on the crew: pilot, gunner, or engineer. The pilot steers and positions the ship, the gunners fire the weapons, and the engineers keep the ship repaired and running. The ship itself is the crew's shared life bar, so when it goes down, everyone goes down with it. No single crew member can win alone; everyone has to do their job and cover for each other.
Fight AI missions or rival crews
You can take your ship and crew against AI-controlled challenges such as escort missions, convoy raids, and base assaults. The AI uses dynamic learning systems, so it picks up on the tactics you use and gets tougher with each fight. On top of that, crews can battle other human-crewed ships in competitive matches. Both modes run online, and every victory or defeat shifts the larger war between six factions fighting over territory and resources.
Build your ship and pick a faction
Starting from a selection of basic hulls, you mix and match hundreds of custom parts to build your own airship, then assemble a crew to fly it. The world is a land ruined by an out-of-control industrial revolution, split by toxic wasteland, where six factions hold very different ideas about how to reclaim it: the Fjord Baronies, the King's Seat, the Order of Chaladon, the Mercantile Guild, the Anglean Republic, and one more. Battles feed back into the ongoing war and the story, so key victories can end up as part of the lore. This is the expanded edition of Guns of Icarus Online and includes all of that title's content plus the cooperative missions.
