A co-op open-world RPG you can play solo or with friends
Gedonia 2 is an online co-op RPG and the expanded sequel to Gedonia. You explore a living open world in third person, taking on quests, fighting enemies, solving puzzles and digging up rewards. Every quest, challenge and corner of the world can be done either alone or with a team, so nothing is locked behind playing with others. The game is in Early Access, so expect it to still be in development while you play it.
Playing together as a group
Up to 4 players can travel the world together. One person can host and the rest join, and you split up the work however you like: one player chases a quest line while another gathers materials, or the whole group takes on a tough enemy together. Because quests and areas are completable in multiplayer, your group can move at its own pace without anyone falling out of the story. Choices you make during quests affect outcomes, so it helps to talk through decisions as a group rather than one player picking unilaterally.
Building a character that fits your playstyle
Character building is deep and open-ended, with hundreds of possible builds. You combine abilities, attributes and playstyles to shape a hero or a villain, and there is no single correct setup. Crafting supports this: you gather raw materials from the world and turn them into weapons, armor and useful items through an expanded crafting interface. Since everyone in the group can build differently, a party naturally ends up covering a range of roles without anyone being forced into one.
What to know before starting
Your decisions carry weight. Actions can change the world around you with both immediate and long-term consequences, and quests offer different paths through strategic choices and skill-check dialogue options. That means two groups can end up with quite different stories from the same playthrough. The world is large and meant to be roamed freely, so there is plenty of ground to cover and hidden things to find. As an Early Access title, features and content may shift as development continues, so keep that in mind when settling in for a long session.
