A Set of Escape-Room Stories
"Escape Memoirs: Mini Stories" is a series of co-operative escape-room style puzzle scenarios. Each one is sure to test your wits as you try to overcome the challenges that stand in the way of your escape. The scenarios are linear, so you always know you are moving toward the exit, but the path there is packed with locks, security devices, and deductive reasoning puzzles. One of the scenarios, "Jail Breakout", puts you in the role of a burglar who, after an unfortunate turn of events, finds themselves in a jail. The obstacles between you and freedom are many, and getting out takes careful thinking rather than quick reflexes.
Playing Together
You can play solo, or work together with your friends in up to 5-player multiplayer. Online co-op is supported, so your group can tackle the same scenario side by side. Because the puzzles range from operating security devices to working through deductive reasoning, a bigger group means more eyes on the room and more hands on the clues. Splitting up the search, comparing notes, and arguing out a logic puzzle are all part of the fun when you are trying to escape together.
Before You Start
Expect a puzzle-focused experience rather than a combat-heavy one: the tags point to logic, investigation, hidden objects, and exploration. The atmosphere leans realistic and can touch on horror themes, so keep that in mind if your group is sensitive to that kind of setting. As you make your way through each scenario, there are plenty of hidden collectibles to find, which rewards taking your time and checking every corner before you commit to the exit.
