A fantasy roguelike dungeon crawl
DunHero is a top-down action roguelike set in a medieval fantasy world. You pick a hero and push through procedurally generated dungeons, fighting enemies and bosses with a bullet hell style of combat. The maps and worlds change every run, so no two playthroughs play out the same. Along the way you collect items, level up, and spend rare cards to build up your character. The game includes 28 playable classes, each with its own starting items and strengths, plus 600+ items to find and 80+ rare cards to earn from leveling. There are 8 worlds to explore, each with its own bosses and enemies.
Playing together
DunHero supports online co-op for groups of 2 to 4 players, and Remote Play Together is available if you want to join up with a friend. Everyone picks their own class, so a team can mix different strengths and starting gear. Since the dungeons are procedurally generated, each session gives the group a fresh layout to work through together. You can also play solo if the group is not around.
Before you start
Runs are built around building up your character as you go, so expect to find items, traders, and stronger enemies the deeper you push. The game leans on PvE, so the challenge comes from the dungeons and bosses rather than other players. It is a roguelite, meaning runs are meant to be replayed with new maps and new builds each time.
