A puzzle game with dungeon runs

Dungeons & Jewels takes the tile-matching board and turns it into a dungeon crawl. You match tiles to fire off your abilities, chain combos to hit harder, and work through puzzles while monsters and bosses try to stop you. Between fights you pick up relics, learn spells, and unlock new equipment, so each run builds toward a different loadout. The game draws from classic PC puzzle titles like Puzzle Quest and Bejeweled, but structures them like modern roguelikes such as Slay the Spire.

Runs are short, usually 20-30 minutes, and the board changes each time: new treasures, different enemy colors, and different spell colors. When you want something longer, Endless Mode stacks escalating and combined challenges with no fixed end. Practice Mode lets you pick a specific branch or encounter to run again while you work out a strategy.

Playing with friends

Dungeons & Jewels is built as a singleplayer game, but it supports Steam's Remote Play Together, so someone on your friends list can join your session through Steam. Beyond that, the shared hook is the online leaderboards, where you and your friends can compare scores on runs. There is no local co-op or versus mode listed for this game.

What to know before starting

The dungeon has 12 branches and over 90 enemies, with more than 80 spells and relics to find and unlock across runs. Four playable characters each bring different gameplay, unlocks, and difficulty options, so your first few runs are a good time to see which one fits how you like to play. Steam Achievements and Cloud Saves are supported, and runs you want to compare go to the online leaderboards.
