Two sides, one arena
Dinogen Online is a fast-paced 2D top-down shooter from Wilkin Games. You pick a side and fight in objective-based rounds: Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and Destruction. Humans come with guns, equipment, and vehicles, while dinosaurs play very differently. On top of that there are survival modes where waves keep coming, including militia soldiers, dinosaurs, helicopters, and more. Hundreds of weapons, equipment, and items are there to unlock, and loadouts and appearances are yours to customize as your rank climbs.
Playing together
Everything runs through online multiplayer, so your group joins the same matches and works the objectives as a team. When you want to try your own ideas, the Scenario Editor lets you build maps and missions, from small tweaks to existing maps to new missions built on an integrated trigger system. Anything you make there shows up in multiplayer right away, so the whole group can jump into your creation. Local play with bots is available too, and there are worldwide leaderboards and achievements to keep an eye on.
Before you start
This is Early Access, so expect things to change as it develops. It is a 2D top-down view rather than first-person, which matters if your group is used to other shooters. The range of modes and the editor mean there is a lot to learn up front, so it helps to decide whether you are here for quick objective rounds, long survival runs, or making maps together.
