Breaking In for &Beyond
You are a new employeen at &Beyond, a delivery company that hands out contracts with no details attached. The job boils down to three steps: break into places, scrap everything that is not nailed down, and feed the scrap into the Delivery Maker 3000 to turn it into a delivery. Tables, chairs, electronics and other junk all count as raw material. The goal is to get the job done and pay off your debt, and the game does not go easy on you when you fail.
Playing Together Online
This is an online co-op game built for groups of up to 5 players, and it will stretch to 15 if you really want that much chaos. Everyone works the same contract at once, so the group splits up to break in, haul scrap and keep the Delivery Maker fed. The maps are randomly generated, which means no two runs hand you the same building layout or the same route to the goods.
Prop Surfing and Movement
Bridges and ladders are optional when you have PhysTech's Prop Surfing System. Anything you can stand on becomes a ride: file cabinets, barrels, office chairs and whatever else is lying around. Launch yourself across gaps and over obstacles instead of taking the slow path. Expect physics to do strange things, since prop surfing is treated as a feature rather than a bug.
Before You Start
Runs are roguelike in shape, with perma death on the table, so a bad plan can cost you the whole attempt. The game supports Workshop modding, and the tag list marks it as moddable, so your group can add to the run once you have the basics down. It is first-person, and the tone is comedy through and through.
