A full cricket simulation across every format
Cricket 19 is a cricket simulation from Big Ant Studios covering T20, ODI and Test Match play. You take control of your team at club level and work up through to national level, so the same squad management and batting, bowling and fielding decisions carry across the whole ladder. The AI uses real-world tactics, which means opponents change their approach to the state of the match rather than playing the same way every over. Dozens of teams are available to pick from, so you can jump in with an established side or start smaller and build up.
Playing together
Online PvP lets you face off against another player, with one of you batting while the other bowls and fields, then swapping. Online Co-op is there for playing alongside others rather than against them. Remote Play Together lets a friend join your session from their own machine. Whatever the setup, the match runs on the same rules and formats, so a group can agree on a T20 for a quick session or settle in for a Test Match.
Building your own content
The Cricket Academy gives you a deep creator for players, stadia, sponsor logos, uniforms and scenarios. You can recreate your local club, its ground and its kit, or set up a specific match situation to replay. The career mode starts a rookie in junior club cricket, and strong performances move them up until they are captaining their nation. Expect to spend time in the creator tools before a match if you want your own club in the game, and note that the game is built around controller play.
