What the game is

Come See My Hole puts you next to a hole in the ground. That is the whole setup. The Metaverse, NFTs, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Web3 — none of that is here. You stand there, in a colorful first-person world, and take in the sights and sounds of the hole. The game leans into atmosphere and dialogue, with a tone that sits somewhere between cozy, wholesome, philosophical, satirical, and meme-flavored. Expect a story-rich, immersive-sim-style experience built around being present in a detailed world rather than around objectives or progression.

How a group plays it together

Online Co-op lets you join up to 3 friends, so up to 4 people can stand around the hole at once. You invite friends through Steam and hang out together in the same space. Conversation is the main thing to do — talk with each other, tell jokes, or just sit in silence. You can also make noises, play music, or simply take in the surroundings. There is no stated goal to chase; the session is what you and your friends make of it while standing around the hole.

What to know before starting

This is a casual, atmospheric hangout rather than a game with missions, combat, or win conditions. It is tagged Singleplayer as well as Co-op and Multiplayer, so you can play alone, but the co-op hook is standing around the hole with friends and talking. The world is described as immersive and detailed, and the experience is first-person, dialogue-heavy, and psychedelic in flavor. Go in expecting to slow down, look around, and enjoy the company — or the quiet — next to a hole.
