Fighting through the armies of Soros
Blocked and Loaded is an MMO-RPG-FPS where you play as the lone survivor of a horrific battle, struggling back toward Hope City. Once you're back in service of the king, the job is simple: fight legions of unholy enemies for loot and glory, mostly loot. The game runs on a fast-paced first-person loop of shooting, leveling and picking through what enemies drop, with a large open world that runs from snow wastelands to dangerous caverns to explore as you go.
Playing with your friends
You team up with friends directly, and drop in, drop out multiplayer means joining a game is quick and doesn't need much setup on your part. Between fights you can trade items with other players to get what you need to finish a build, so a group can spread out and share what each person finds rather than everyone chasing the same drop. Everyone has their own home to show off to the others, complete with treasure chests, a cooking pot, a blacklisting anvil and a farming area.
Gear, stats and customization
The armory runs to over 150 weapons, armor and magical items, and the leveling and loot system is built for detailed customization of your stats. That means experimenting is the point: pick a set of armaments, tune your stats around them, then swap pieces in as better loot turns up. Before you start, expect the usual MMO shape of things — you'll spend time grinding enemies for drops, and your build will change as the gear does. Bring friends along and the trading side makes rounding out a build much easier than going it alone.
