Build a Viking settlement from nothing
ASKA drops you into a mythic open world where you start with nothing and work your way up to a thriving colony. You design and construct every part of your village yourself, from homes and workshops to altars and fortifications. Each building has a real job to do, feeding into how well the community functions and how well it defends itself. Beyond the layout, you can personalize structures with functional furniture, dyes and decorative items, so the settlement ends up looking like yours rather than a copy of a template.
Run a living village with real villagers
The heart of ASKA is the people you gather. You command NPC villagers, assigning roles and training them in skills for battle or their chosen vocation. A skilled blacksmith turns out better tools and weapons, while a good hunter ranges further across the world to bring back more food. Villagers are not mindless workers: they need food, water and rest, they follow daily schedules, and each one has their own perks, needs and strengths. Their individual stories play out as they contribute to the settlement, so managing the tribe means managing a community rather than just placing buildings.
Survive the seasons and ancient threats
The land is harsh and the threats are real. Winter brings freezing cold you have to plan against, and the Blood Moon calls for preparation even in peaceful times. Dark forces are scattered across the lands, and you can build powerful runestones to strengthen your tribe and village against them. Combat is skill-based and takes on legendary creatures, so fighting is something you get better at rather than something handled automatically.
Play solo or with friends
You can lead the tribe on your own or team up with up to three friends in online co-op. The world is procedurally generated, filled with secrets, hidden caves, ancient landmarks, dangerous threats and valuable resources to find. Weather is dynamic and survival priorities shift with the seasons, so what matters in summer is not what matters in winter. Note that ASKA is in Early Access, so the game is still being developed and things can change as it grows.
