A raid loop your group can share

ARC Raiders is a third-person extraction shooter set on a future Earth taken over by machines called ARC. Each run starts underground in Speranza, where you buy, craft and repair in your workshop, then head topside to scavenge loot across four distinct maps. When you have what you came for, you get it back out. Loot can be sold for coin or turned into new gear, so a quiet run that banks materials is as useful as a raid that ends in a firefight.

The surface changes every time: weather, enemies and mechanics vary between runs, and the machines come in different shapes, from drone swarms to mechanical giants that need their weak spots picked out. Fighting is loud, and other Raiders hear it.

Playing together

You can go in solo or in parties of up to three. A three-person group covers the roles naturally: one watches for rival Raiders, one focuses on machines, one hauls loot. Communication matters more than loadout, since the machines have distinct tactics and the noise you make attracts attention.

Because parties are capped at three, your group can split across runs and compare what each squad brought home, or pair off for duos. Other Raiders in the session are a factor either way, so a group that sticks together has an easier time holding onto its loot.

Before you start

Expect to lose gear. Dying topside means the equipment you carried is gone, so the skill tree and workshop exist to make each death survivable — Survival skills speed looting and quiet your movement, Mobility helps you reposition, Conditioning raises Strength and Stamina.

Pick a shared focus for your group: quests from the Traders reward gear, crafting materials and XP, and they pull everyone the same direction. Blueprints and workshop stations gate the better weapons, so early sessions are about building the base kit — SMGs, rifles and shotguns, plus grenades, traps and ziplines. Guns alone won't carry you; augments unlock dedicated inventory slots and perks, and the loot you extract is what funds all of it.
