Mixing animals into an army

Animal Fight Club is built around the Mix Machine. You take two animals, real or legendary, and combine them into something new. Dozens of animal types feed into over 1000 possible combinations, so the creature generator has no fixed ceiling. Every animal carries its own statistics, health, strengths and weaknesses, which means the pairing matters: mix for raw power, or mix to cover a weakness. What comes out of the machine goes straight into your army.

Fighting with what you built

Once your army is ready, it fights both offline and online. The singleplayer campaign takes you through a story, drops you into a variety of maps and scenarios tied to that campaign, and unlocks new animals for your army as you progress. For multiplayer you get Online PvP duels against friends or random challengers, running over a direct peer-to-peer connection chosen for stability and network speed, with the stated guarantee that online play stays available in the future. The action, strategy and simulation sides of the game meet here: you assemble the roster, then fight it out.

Making your own missions

The mission editor lets you build custom missions with your own armies, waves, maps and music. Finished missions go to the Steam Workshop to share, and you can play levels other users have made. This gives the game a supply of content beyond the campaign and the standard duels, as long as people keep publishing.

Before you start

The game is described as a compromise between stability, lightness and content, designed to run on most devices even without a dedicated video card, so hardware should not be the barrier. Expect a mix of creature-building and combat rather than one or the other: the campaign is where you unlock, the editor is where you build, and Online PvP is where your army gets tested against someone else's.
