A fast duel-style bullet hell
Acceleration of SUGURI 2 is a duel-style shoot'em'up from Orange_Juice built around fast, tactical fights. You pick a character from the SUGURI universe and face off against another fighter, dodging dense bullet patterns while looking for openings. The game runs at Full HD resolution and beyond, and it is a direct sequel to Sora. The story continues with the characters you already know and introduces a new mastermind causing havoc on Earth.
Playing together
The game offers three modes: Story, Arcade and Match Mode. Match Mode is where groups meet up, with both online and shared screen multiplayer. Online play uses rollback netcode, which keeps matches responsive when players are far apart. Shared Screen lets people on the same machine play side by side. The roster holds over 10 characters from the SUGURI universe, so a group can work through different matchups and see how each fighter's tools change the pace of a duel.
Before you start
Story Mode puts you against the AI and follows the plot, while Arcade offers a more straightforward run through fights. Match Mode is the pick for competitive play between friends or strangers. Expect a quick, dense style of combat: positioning, movement and reading bullet patterns matter as much as landing hits. The character roster is large enough that learning a few fighters first is a practical way to get into the rhythm before branching out.
