What Vivid World is

Vivid World is a party-building roguelike auto-battler set in the Underworld, a land ruled by demons. It follows Vivid Knight with a completely new setup: the characters you recruit have transformed into jewels, and you assemble them into a team to push through strange dungeons. The story unfolds as you conquer dungeons and talk to the denizens of the Underworld, uncovering its secrets and learning who these characters really are. Strengthening your bonds with them lets you unleash their hidden powers. The dungeons are procedurally generated, so each run lays out a different path to work through.

How your group plays together

Online Co-op is supported, so you and your friends can team up and take on the dungeons as a shared run. Your party is built from jewels you gather along the way, and everyone's choices feed into the same team. Since the battles play out automatically, the group's attention goes into planning rather than reflexes: deciding which jewels to keep, which to merge, and how to shape the party before the next fight starts. Coordinating those decisions with your friends is the core of playing it together.

Building your party

Party building goes deeper than in Vivid Knight. Gather several of the same jewels, merge them, and watch the buffs and synergy stack up. On top of that, each character in your party can be equipped with Orbs, which opens up a much wider range of party configurations. The characters themselves come in different jewel types, and you can buy, sell, or strengthen them as you go. Merging several of the same jewel into one makes it stronger, so you can either spread your resources across a varied team or pour them into a single jewel. Managing those resources is a real test: push too greedily and you can end up stuck in a dungeon with no way out.

Battles and strategy

Battles advance on their own while you steer them with Gems during the battle phases. You can combine several Gems together for a bigger effect or fire off a single Gem on its own, which gives you room to react to how a fight is going. The strategic layer sits in that timing and in the party you assembled beforehand. Expect a difficult, roguelike run where each dungeon tests how well you built and equipped your team, and where the Underworld's mysteries come into focus the deeper you push.
