A full baseball game in VR

TOTALLY BASEBALL lets you play the whole sport in virtual reality, covering every position on the field. You can take it on alone or join up with friends. The game leans on realistic throwing and batting physics, so the way you handle the ball and the bat matters. Beyond the basics, you have special pitches to work with, including curve balls, slowballs, and splitters. Batters can stick with the classic swing or switch to the PRO batting mode once they have the timing down for a tougher challenge.

Playing with your group

The game is built around playing with other people. You can go head-to-head in a 1v1 match, or jump into FREE PLAY mode, which supports groups ranging from 2 people all the way up to 20. A handy feature lets each player choose their own position, so your group can split up the field however you like. There are multiple teams and venues to pick from, including small fields and huge stadiums, and you can play against each other in them. If your group wants to practice first, there are practice and tutorial modes to help new players find their pitching and batting sweet spot.

Before you start

Since this is a VR game, everyone needs a headset to play. The game includes comfort settings and hand position settings that you can fine-tune to your liking, which is worth adjusting before a long session. Avatars and graphics have been updated for newer Quest headsets, and there is character customization with plenty of items to unlock. The game also sees seasonal updates that add new fields and items throughout the year. Beyond your immediate group, there is a large community of players to match with or to ask for tips.
