What Hero Zero is
Hero Zero is a free-to-play online multiplayer RPG where you create your own superhero and work through a funny storyline. You start by saving your neighbourhood in Humpreydale and fight hundreds of villains, criminals and bosses, using both wits and strength. Along the way you level up your skills and unlock gadgets and upgrades to equip your hero for battles and single-player missions.
Playing together with your group
You can join or create a team with your friends and build a shared headquarters to fight more efficiently against villains, criminals and bosses. Teams and individual players compete in multiplayer fights and climb leaderboards. There is also PvP for challenging other heroes, plus real-time villain events that involve thousands of players. Hard Mode is a PvE feature for players who have reached the upper ranks of heroism, letting you replay special missions on a tougher setting with leaderboard tracking and rewards.
Hide-out and seasons
Part of the game is building your own hideout as a secret base under your house in Humpreydale. Upgrading and modifying it improves rewards and efficiency, and you can compete with other players to see who builds the best superhero hideout. The season feature runs monthly: each season pass unlocks exclusive armour, weapons and sidekicks themed around Season Arcs, with three seasons making up a three-month period. The game receives regular free updates and new content.
