A menu-based farming RPG
Farm RPG is a menu-based farming RPG/MMO from Magic & Wires LLC. You build your farm, grow crops, fish, craft, cook, and explore, all through a simple interface that runs fast and keeps data use low. As you progress you unlock more daily activities, and NPCs hand out help requests that give you a steady list of things to do. Chickens, cows, a steak market, pets, and item mastery round out the long-term goals. There is no limit on play time, so you can farm all day if you want, and the game is ad-free with no popups.
Playing with your group
The game is played online with other players and needs a network connection. Trading and teamwork are built into the loop: you can trade with fellow players and collaborate in the community, which is described as friendly and non-competitive. Since it is menu-based and incremental, sessions are easy to drop into, so a group can each work on their own farm and compare progress, swap goods, and help each other decide what to invest in next. The Steam features list includes Online Co-op, and the game is playable cross-platform and on mobile devices with progress synced between devices.
Before you start
Registration is required to play. You can add an email when you join, but it is optional and only used for password recovery; no data is collected or sold. The game is free to play and spans casual, indie, RPG, and massively multiplayer genres with tags covering farming, fishing, crafting, cooking, inventory management, base building, and resource management. Expect a chill, relaxed pace with a simple UI and plenty of RPG elements, and know that the community tends to help new players with what to do first and how to play.
