A Remastered Dark Fantasy ARPG
Diablo II: Resurrected – Infernal Edition brings the classic action RPG back with modern 3D graphics, remastered audio, and updated cinematics. You journey through the war-torn land of Sanctuary, fighting through the conflict between Heaven and Hell. The package includes the original game, the Lord of Destruction expansion, and the new Reign of the Warlock DLC. The core gameplay focuses on chaining skill and item synergies to build a powerful character who can carve through Hell's armies. With over 200 skills spread across eight classes, there is a lot of room to experiment with different builds and playstyles.
Playing Together Online
This is a co-op campaign you can tackle with friends. Up to eight players can join forces to play through the story and hunt for loot together. The group can mix and match classes to cover different roles, combining their skills to take down tough enemies and bosses. Beyond the campaign, there are expanded endgame challenges like Terror Zone updates and the Colossal Ancients fight that give a group new goals to chase after the main story is done. Seasonal ladder resets offer a fresh start with new challenges, so a group can begin a run together on equal footing.
What to Know Before Starting
The Reign of the Warlock DLC adds a new class called the Warlock, a master of shadow who can enslave demons, channel magic into weapons, or unleash fire and shadow from a distance. The game also includes quality-of-life features like a customizable Loot Filter to reduce screen clutter and updated Stash Tabs with dedicated space for gems, materials, and runes. You can switch freely between the classic and remastered visuals at any time. For players who like to track their progress, the Chronicle system shows all items collected across your account and rewards completionists. Note that this edition also unlocks cosmetic items in Diablo IV and a housing item in World of Warcraft.
