What AdventureQuest 3D is
AdventureQuest 3D is a third-person action RPG set in a fantasy world under attack by a mysterious new threat. The Void King is raising an army in secret, and Death has chosen you as his champion to bring him down. Your journey starts in the legendary town of Battleon, where you meet unusual characters, take on quests, and uncover a large world storyline. The game is a re-imagining of the original browser game AdventureQuest, built by the same team at Artix Entertainment. Expect a mix of hack-and-slash combat, exploration of an open world, and the kind of humor the series is known for, including horrifying puns. The world keeps growing, with new features, areas, monsters, and classes added through regular updates.
Playing with your group
This is a massively multiplayer game, so you and your friends can adventure and quest together on the same world in real time. You can team up to fight monsters, explore new areas, and tackle the story as a group. The game supports online co-op for playing together, and there is also online PvP if your group wants to test skills against each other in battle arenas and duels. Combat is real-time, and you can collect and use combat pets that fight alongside you. Since it is cross-platform, members of your group can join from Steam on PC or Mac, Android, or Apple iOS devices, all sharing the same world.
Before you start
A few things are worth knowing before you jump in. The game uses a multi-class system: you collect classes, rank them up, and can switch between them at any time, so you are not locked into one playstyle. Instead of riding mounts, you use travel forms, transforming into creatures to get around. The world is actively developed, with new stories, areas, monsters, and weapons arriving through regular updates, plus live and seasonal events, including Friday the 13th events. The game is free to play and covers action, adventure, casual, and RPG ground, with PvE content alongside the PvP options.
